What is NEMT?
Transportation is inexpensive compared to the high and rapidly growing cost of healthcare, making it more cost-effective to transport a member to preventative care rather than waiting for a serious health condition to arise. Studies prove that a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider increasing transportation access to medical services, results in such significant savings that it justifies increased non-emergency medical transportation spending. Ambulatory
Lifetrans provides rides for patients who need help getting from their home or medical appointment to and from the car.
Wheelchair
Easy access for Wheelchair patients. Each of our drivers are expertly trained in handling both manual and automatic wheelchairs. Our vehicles are equipped with a hydraulic wheelchair lift for members who are not able to transfer from a wheelchair to a seat. Wheelchairs can be provided if needed.
Stretcher/Gurney
Non-emergency gurney transportation staffed with certified CPR / First Aid transport specialists, is intended for use by patients that are unable to sit upright for medical or comfort reasons. Each of our gurney vehicles are equipped hydraulic Power Pro stretchers with Bariatric transport capability.

Lifetrans operates a fleet of state of the art equipped vehicles that offer your members a quiet, comfortable ride. All the vehicles are maintained by our in-house Vehicle Maintenance Technicians and certified service centers.
We have equipped all of our vehicles with the latest safety software. Lifetrans has invested in the leading driver Artificial Intelligence software that monitors each vehicle and driver’s behavior in real time. It measures items such as harsh breaking, distracted driving, speed and many more. This sends out auto updates every minute to our Communications Center.
We also offer Co-Branded vehicles to our Partners. We use Co- Branded fleets dedicated to our clients. This helps create brand awareness and Member confidence. One branded vehicle can create 50,000 impressions a day. When a member is waiting for a ride, we are easily identified with your brand in a professional looking vehicle and driver. This adds to the overall positive member experience that creates loyalty and positive feedback for you.
